Here is a really exciting way to finish off the year. A sneak preview of my collaboration with Niki Taylor the talented designer behind the Olanic label who has just launched a new project.
Collaborating with new and upcoming designers The Top Project promotes and sells the work of emerging print designers and illustrators on 100% organic cotton printed T-shirts and sweatshirts.
I do loads and loads and loads of sketches for all of my commissions I literally fill up an A4 file of sketches drawings and ideas. Which will then get edited down to just the finished article and all those other drawings can get lost or forgotton about so here are a few out-takes from this last project.
Illustrations commissioned by The Knot
“The Knot” in the US runs a bridal trade show, COUTURE, that is held twice a year. As part of debuting the new location in New York, they wanted to create some concept sketches of how the new space will look as part of a mood board that would be displayed on-site at the trade show in April

Its been so long I got the fear! Everytime I thought of doing a post I cringed, luckily I’ve bucked up the courage and got over it as I have lots of exciting new projects to share with you
First up is Tousle Me Softly for Herbal Essences
I love Nigella – she is undoubtedly the Queen of Domestic Goddessness. This month she created some exclusive recipes for the Stylist, and I was asked to illustrate her for the issue.

There is also a nice article in The Stylist about it. here
Last month I was asked by the lovely people at Sainsbury’s Magazine to illustrate their December beauty feature. I received the magazine in the post this week and judging by the packaging it looks like one hungry dog attacked it!
I was asked to create four illustrations for By Brilliant’s website to accompany their online jewellery collections, the jewellery itself was to sit on top of the illustrations. The four looks were English Rose, Boho Beauty, Girl About Town and Lady Fabulous.
Girl About Town
Why don’t you head over to the girl’s website and take a look at their fabulous collections http://www.bybrilliant.com/
This month’s look is Givenchy and the theme was ‘eccentric’. Do you like her panther shadow? It was the best way to incorporate it into the illustration.
And for those of you who like the sketches (I always do) here is some work in progress…
September’s illustration – Prada
Ocotber’s Illustration – Dolce& Gabbana.
Its a great collection and I love the musical theme. View the whole collection here
